Weather is the factor nobody can change and almost nobody writes down. TinnitusMe collects it for your city every day, shows a card on Home when the pressure drops, and tests pressure, temperature, humidity and altitude against your spikes, so you find out whether the weather matters for you or not.

In Vienna, very high or low air pressure was linked to more tinnitus emergency visits in the days after, and high humidity to more on the same day.
Haas et al., Eur Arch Otorhinolaryngol 2023Location is read at city level only and used for weather and altitude alone. Pressure, temperature, humidity, wind, UV and thunderstorm days are switched on when you allow location; pollen and air quality (PM2.5, PM10 and ozone) are available in Data if you want them. Each day is stored and listed in Monitor, under Environment. The history graph is part of Premium.
Home compares today's pressure for your city with yesterday's and shows a card with both numbers when it has fallen by 10 hPa or more. It is a daily comparison of stored values, not a live barometer, and you can hide it from Home. There is no push for it.
Pressure, temperature and humidity high and low, UV, altitude and altitude change are collected triggers, checked against a fixed line and your own 14-day normal. What Happened then shows whether any of them went with your spikes, or that there is no link. Under Monitor and Environment a Premium card called 7-Day Forecast lists the days ahead for your city, with temperature, pressure and humidity.
The Environment card in Monitor shows today's temperature and conditions, with a Thunderstorm warning banner on storm days. Tap it for the list of temperature, pressure, humidity, wind, UV, altitude and altitude change, the 7-Day Forecast, and the history with your spikes laid over it. The 7-Day Forecast card sits there too, and the Barometric pressure alert card appears on Home on the day it applies.
Location, at city level only, never your exact address, used for weather and altitude alone. Skip it and the weather layer stays empty while everything else carries on. Pollen and air quality are off until you switch them on in Data; the 7-Day Forecast card and the history graph are part of Premium.
Barometric pressure, temperature, humidity, wind, UV index, thunderstorm days, altitude and altitude change, plus pollen and air quality if you switch them on.
For some people it seems to go together, for many it does not. TinnitusMe does not assume either: it compares your own loud days with the weather and reports a link, never a cause.
Weather needs it. You can skip it, and the weather layer stays empty while everything else carries on. Only city-level location is used.
